Alvin Randall, 70, of Hendersonville died Wednesday, March 16, 2011.

Born in Madison County, NC, he was the son of the late Charlie and Glates Roberts Randall. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Rom, Wade and Lewis E. Randall, and three sisters, Helen Jervis, Linda Jean Randall and Inis R. Payne.

He loved gardening and fishing.

He is survived by his loving wife, June Barnwell Randall of Hendersonville; his son, Timothy Alvin Randall of Hendersonville; his stepson, Jason Rogers of Cleveland, OH; three brothers, Leo G. Randall of Winston-Salem; Leonard Randall of Asheville; and Ray Randall of Mars Hill; two sisters, Pauline R. Payne of Marshall and Ruth R. Meadows of Mars Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Pastor Richard Ritter will officiate.
