Anna B. Jones (Williams)

Anna B. Jones (Williams), 89,  of Gastonia died Saturday, January 21, 2023, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.

She was born July 26, 1933, in Madison County, a daughter of the late Fred and Lydia Henderson Bright.

Anna was active in her church, an avid gardener, a crafter extraordinaire, and had a deep love for pets. She retired from Berkeley Mills and enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children Fred Williams and her second husband, Dan Jones.

Surviving are her Son, Tim Williams and his wife Laura of Gastonia; daughters, Margaret Williams of Raleigh and Cathy Highlands and her husband Keith of Mechanicsburg, PA; grandchildren, Daniel Plemmons, Kendra Highlands, and Katie Highlands along with her sisters, Margie Beasley and her husband Jennings and Helen Thomas all of Swannanoa.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Shepherd Memorial Park with Reverend Dr. Thomas W. Smith officiating.
