Gifts & Memorial Donations

In Loving Memory of our daughter, Asia Rhiannon Acosta, 31 of Lake Lure, who was born November 28, 1979 and laid to rest November 9, 2011.

Asia never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. She fought a long hard battle with renal failure and has now gone home to be with the Lord our Father. She will be deeply missed but not forgotten.

She is survived by her mother and father Samuel and Brenda Payne of Lake Lure; three siblings Jason DíMont, of Lakeland, Fla., Samantha and Eric Payne of Norwood, Ohio; Uncle Johnny and Cheryl Albritton, Wasilla, Alaska; seven nephews and nieces; her grandparents Mae Matthews, of Plant City, Fla. and Paul and Nelle Eckert of Lake Lure, NC.

No formal service is planned.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be sent to Shuler Funeral Home, 125 Orrís Camp Road, Hendersonville, NC 28792 for assistance with her final arrangements. Any remaining monies will be donated to Davita Dialysis Center in Hendersonville.

Thank you for all of your thoughts and prayers.

I remember when you were little and you and Jay use to come over to Daddys house with your Mom. It feels like yesterday. Words cannot express the saddness that I feel right now. The Lord has a plan for us all and yours is done on this earth. He has called you home to be an Angel. To watch over all of us who are left here. You will be greatly missed Baby Girl. Rest in Peace Asia. Brenda, I know that we have never been very close but you are my Sister and I love you very much. Please know that.
