Beryl Allene Trachsel of Heritage Hills in Hendersonville went home to Heaven, taken there by Christ her Savior on Friday, August 31, 2012.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Blanch Friebe, one brother, Earl Friebe, and two infant children.

Mrs. Trachsel was survived by her loving husband, Fred Trachsel of Hendersonville; three brothers, Gene, Johnie, and Lester Friebe; and one sister, Irene Jones, all of Springfield, MO.

Beryl and Fred were married in Waco, Texas in 1959. They immediately moved to Michigan where she taught school many of the thirty years living there. They moved to Hendersonville in 1989, where they became active members of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. She taught in the childrenís Sunday School Department at FBC since 1989. At the same time, she was very active in the churchís Womenís Missionary Union organization, as she was also in Michigan, 1959-1989.

Berylís love for missions was sparked as a young person when she did mission work in Mexico City, Mexico. She has been a very mission-minded person throughout her Christian life. To her loving husband, she has been the worldís greatest wife and helpmate!

A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, September 5, 2012 in the main Sanctuary of the First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. The Reverend Dr. Ryan Pack and the Reverend Wally Shamburger will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Fred, I was so saddened to learn of Beryl's Homegoing, but I am so thankful that her earthly pain and suffering have ended and that she is now at Home in the presence of our Lord - the one she loved and served so faithfully. I will forever remember all of our years of working together in Children's Sunday School at First Baptist Church. She was a joy and blessing to the children - she loved them dearly and they knew it. She was my right arm all those years and I will never forget all of her love, support and encouragement to me. She is now rejoicing with the Lord and what a blessed promise we have that one day soon we will all be together in the Lord's presence for all eternity, never to be separated again. Please know you will be in my prayers and thoughts in these days, weeks and months that lie ahead. May the Lord bless, comfort and strengthen you in a powerful way and I know His grace will be sufficient for you! With my thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy to you as I remember my precious friend, Beryl. Alton
