What a sweet dear lady Betty was! I first met Betty when I was the director of the Golden Agers' Program at The Salvation Army. Betty was willing to help with most everything. A very special memory is when she portrayed Mary in our Christmas play; she now knows Mary personally. Another activity she participated in was modelling the "ball" gown in our silly fashion show. Betty was such a good sport! Most of all I will remember Betty for her sweet smile. No matter how she felt she always had that beautiful smile for all she met. I, along with many others, will miss Betty greatly.
