Beulah Hester Simms, 69, of Hendersonville, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Elizabeth House following a short illness. She has gone to enjoy eternal peace with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and enjoy an ever lasting visit with her family.
A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Edward Luther Osteen and Mildred Hester Osteen. She is also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jo Ann Osteen and a brother, Douglas Osteen. She graduated high school from Flat Rock and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her brother, Edward “Clifford” Hugh Osteen; a nephew, Edward Martin Osteen; Evelyn Nichols and family; Glen Hill and his wife; Faye Brown and family; Daniel Ward and family; and along with many other who “came off” of Mount Olive in Tuxedo.
She was buried at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.
