We recently moved to Mills River and before we could unpack Carroll was at our door offering his help in case we needed anything. It was a warm and gracious moment. It's always difficult to move across country and not know anyone! Carroll made us feel welcome. He will be missed. Mark Leet and Dr. Leslie Campbell

    Jerry R. Robinson says:
I met Carroll in 1988 shortly after I started work as an Environmental health specialist for Henderson County. He was such an enthusiastic person! He cared for what he was doing & for the people he was working for. I remember he always acted both professionally and as a true Christian gentleman. I, from the "old guard", now retired, at Environmental Health can say that we considered Carroll to be trustworthy & always willing to help. He will truly be missed by all, Godspeed Carroll.
