My ëlittleí brother - 6í 6î or soÖ we grow ëem tall in our family! I will always remember our childhood days with love and laughter - playing under the pine tree behind the garage, teasing Grandpa, climbing the maple tree ñ even when he pulled the bench away, forgetting that I was a foot taller and didnít need the bench! Watching cheesy ë50s ëmonster moviesí on Saturday afternoons ñ over and over again ñ The Crawling Eye, Godzilla, RodanÖ.Charlie was four years younger, always spying, finding ways to embarrass me -îIím telling mommy!î Typical kid brother stuff, annoying at the time, making us laugh years later. Raiding his room and ëborrowingí his Dark Side of the Moon album - Iím happy to say that we became good friends - had lots of good times together learning to negotiate the adult world, going to clubs & concerts, and just hanging out and supporting each other. My brother had a great sense of humor and was fun to be with. He loved his family and his life in North Carolina. He used to tell me how much he liked sitting in front of his home watching the river, and how peaceful it made him feel. My brother went through so much these last few years. I hope you know how much you inspired me with your determination to get past it all, Charlie. I hope you find your ëpeaceful placeí on the other side, free of pain. Iím so glad we took this trip around the planet together. I will always hold you in my heartÖI miss you, brotherÖ..Love Always, Donna
