Charles Michael ìChuckî Kilpatrick, 43, of Hendersonville, NC, left this world on Sunday, March 1, 2009 and was welcomed into heaven by Jesus and his daddy who had been there waiting on him for the last year. Chuck was known around town as the Gentle Giant; as big as he was, his heart was bigger.

A native and lifelong resident of Hendersonville, he was the son of Doris Kilpatrick of Hendersonville and the late James Joseph Kilpatrick.

He was a member of Dana Baptist Church.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Wanda Walker Kilpatrick of Hendersonville; his brother, Jeff ìJ.J.î Kilpatrick of Hendersonville; his sister, Cyndi Pearson and husband, Alan, of Dana; his son, Allen, and daughter, Tiffany, of the home; nieces and nephews, Jessica and Tyler Kilpatrick, Erica Fisher; Alexus, Hunter, Tyler, and Tanner Walker; Josh and Casi Pearson; and Mallary and Garrett Bailey; two great-nieces, Alexis Pearson and Ruby Fisher; two aunts; and an uncle.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Dana Baptist Church with the Reverends Dan Blackwell, Michael Engle, and Lincoln Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 ñ 8 PM Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Shuler Funeral Home, and, at other times, the family will be at the home of his mother on Berkley Road.

    To the Kilpatrick Family I was saddened to hear about Chucl passing away. I went to school with Chuck & JJ from Balfour all the way to West Henderson. He was the class clown, a great wrestler and always made me smile. I remember his father doing upholstery work for my family and I smiled when I thgouth back to chuck in school. I pray God will comfort you through your time of grief. God Bless You All
