Charles Ray Anderson age 85 of Hendersonville passed away Friday June 5, 2015.

Charles was born March 10, 1930 in Madison County, NC to the late Fred Anderson and Bertie Jarvis Anderson.

He owned and operated A&H Sheet Metal, and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club, a member of the Sons of the American Legion and a member of a country club.

“God sends his pure sweet love on the wings of a dove.” On Friday June 5, 2015 God sent a snow white dove to carry my father home to the valley of peace. Never to be forgotten for you will always walk with me. An everlasting love for you lives in my heart.

Charles was predeceased by his parents, three sisters and four brothers, and a daughter, Sharon Anderson.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Anderson of Hendersonville; a daughter, Tina Stepp (Randy) of Hendersonville; step- daughters, Rhonda Matthews (Robert) of Hendersonville and Nedra Willis of Arden; six sisters, Ruby Gilbert, Marie Smith, Jeanette Fortune, Inez Lyday, Juanita Westmoreland, and Doris Anderson; a granddaughter, Melissa (Dwayne) Summey ; three great-grandchildren, Bethany Summey, Jacob Summey, and Nicholas Summey ; two step-grandchildren, Tiffany (Ernie) Bacchino and Brittany Willis; one step-great-grandchild, Alex Bacchino; and a number of nieces and nephews

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday June 9, 2015 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Reverends Steven Blanton and Jerry Bivens officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the church.
