David E. Miller, 82, of Vero Beach, FL and Hendersonville, NC, died Thursday, March 10, 2011.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Robert Miller and Beatrice Wirth Miller. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Robert Miller, and a sister, Jean Fox.

He proudly served in the US Navy and loved painting and woodworking. He enjoyed life to the fullest.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Patricia Miller of Vero Beach, FL and Hendersonville; his son, Michael Miller and wife, Suzanne; his daughter, Kathryn Burgess and husband, Richard; three grandchildren, Erin Miller, Benjamin Miller and Jeffrey Burgess; and several nieces and nephews.
