She was born in Carthage, MO, a daughter of the late Cecil and Emma Lee Bridges and sister of the late Betty Ann.

She enjoyed making people smile and feel loved. One of her favorite activities was making cards for nursing home residents, to try and cheer them up. In her early years, she was a Draftswoman, Artist, Beauty Queen, and helped handicap children with walks and art, etc. She also spent countless hours helping at the nursing home her mother resided in. She blessed all that came into her presence, and she cared deeply for all of humanity.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any of following organizations in her honor. St. Jude, Salvation Army, Manna Foodbank, March of Dimes, or Child Fund.

She was deeply loved and will continue to be deeply missed.
