    Janet Taber says:
Dottie was my "Oma" (grandmother) for 48 wonderful years. From my childhood memories in Hilton, NY to our 2 great summers together on Maui and in recent years our visits to Etowah and Hendersonville, NC. All have all been special memories for me. Our last visit with Oma was Mother's Day of this year. She was in good spirits and was able to speak on the phone with my brother John and his daughter Dayna. I am so glad we had that special visit with Oma. Every time I see a collectible shoe, I think of Oma. We stopped adding to the collection in recent years, but I know that every time I see a little shoe from now on, it will have an even more special meaning. Oma was a wonderful lady, loved by all and we were just lucky enough to have her in our family. God Bless you, Oma. We love you and we will miss you.
