Dovie Hall

Dovie G. Hall, 72, of Hendersonville, went to be with the Lord Saturday morning, December 13, 2008 at Four Seasons Hospice Elizabeth House following an extended illness.

She lived for most of her life in Whitman, WV, a daughter of the late Albert Gore and Dicie Gore. She was the wife of the late Orville M. Hall, who died in 1991. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Minnie Treolo and brothers, Alvin, Bill, Orville, and Arnold Gore.

She was of the Baptist faith and loved her church, especially her loving Sunday School class.

Surviving is a daughter, Dovetta ìVetî Vinson and husband, Thomas of Hendersonville; two sons, Orville Hall, Jr. and wife, Sue of Whitman, WV and Phillip Hall of Chester, VA; two brothers, Johnny Gore and Franklin Gore of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Amy Kennedy of Richmond, VA and Arleda Adams of Cumberland, VA; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild expected soon.

She will be sorely missed by many friends in NC and WV. She was a special Four Seasons Hospice angel and will be missed by those wonderful people.

A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the Collins Funeral Home Chapel of Switzer, WV. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery of Peck Mills, WV. The family will receive friends from 6 PM ñ 8 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Collins Funeral Home.
