I did not know Mrs. Plick that well but when I started working at Pardee hospital in 1986 I heard many warm hearted stories about "Earleen". Through these stories I knew that Mrs. Plick was an exceptional nurse and I wish I had a chance to work with her.We have a picture up in one of our areas where Mrs. Plick is placing a brick on the new hospital which is Pardee. I wanted to recognize Mrs. Plick as one of the cornerstones of Pardee much like the brick she was placing when Pardee was built. My sincere condolances to her husband and children.

My precious Earleen, Time has left us, but the memories will always stay in my heart. Seems only yesterday you were teaching me about life and oh what a wonderful teacher you were. Youíre compassion, youíre caring and love helped me through so many rough times. When I was down and didnít think I was worth anything or that I could make it you always picked me up and let me know how important I was to you and Joe, and what a good mother I was. Iíll miss you Earleen and will never forget you. I thank the Lord that I was fortunate enough to have you as my friend. I will love you always, Frankie Mae Ferguson
