    Mike & Cynda Sims says:
Bro. Ed was a big influence on me as a kid. He used to stay with our family when he would come to our church to preach. I would sit and listen for hours to his jokes, war stories and other tales he had to tell. He was a great friend of the family and a true man of God. I called him a few months ago and was tickled he remembered me after so many years. He will be truly missed.
