Elizabeth Emily Braly

Elizabeth Emily Braly, 45, a longtime resident of Henderson County, went home to be with her Lord and Savior June 24, 2014. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and servant of Christ.

Liz was born in Queens, NY. On June 15, 1990 she married her soul mate, Mark, and they recently celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary. As a mother of 7 children and grandmother of 4, she had devoted her life to her family. Her family always came first, and she made sure to attend all of her childrenís activities. She attended Bat Cave Baptist Church, where she grew in the Lord. Liz was an avid photographer and had recently developed her own business website, ìElizabeth Weiner Braly Photography.î

She was preceded in death by her mother, Lynn Wellman Weiner.

Survivors include her loving husband, Mark; children, Christopher, Jonathan (Ashley), Clifford (Katelyn), Missy, Madison, and Jason, all of Henderson County and step son Shawn of Columbus, NC. Liz doted on her 4 grandchildren, Arianna, Bella and Dale who lived in her home, and Kiara. Also surviving are her father, Harvey Weiner and step mother, Dottie Weiner, along with sisters, Diane Lovelace of Shelby, Kerry Weiner of Ohio and Meghan Weiner of South Carolina.

A funeral will be at 4:00 pm Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Bat Cave Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service in the church.
