Emma Winter a 20 year resident of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed away peacefully the morning of October 11, 2017. Born April 5th 1932 in Plainfield, New Jersey, she was the daughter of immigrant parents; the late Antonio Bianco and Erminia Bianco.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Richard Winter; a brother, John Bianco. She is also survived by her daughter Connie Faulks and her husband Robert; their children Laura, Michelle, Jessica, and Robert; Emma’s son Richard Winter Jr. and his wife Carmella; their children, Michael and Joseph. Emma has three great grandchildren Lia, Riley, and Sadie.
She was an amazing, intelligent, strong, and, active woman. She always put her family first in every facet of her life. Being an Italian mom it goes without saying what a great cook she was. Even for people who weren’t part of the immediate family she was simply known as mom.
