Eugene H. ìGeneî Page, 84, of Hendersonville, NC died Tuesday, February 1, 2011.

A native of Detroit, Michigan, he was a son of the late Harry and Huldah Grayer Page. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, George Page (Patricia), Harry Page (Marie), Frederick Page (Maureen), and William Page (Martha); three sisters, Helen Burnham (Marrison), Carlon Hohf (Earl), and Amelia Honaker (Buster); and granddaughter, Britney M. Page.

He was a World War II veteran who served in the Navy. He moved to Hendersonville 20 years ago and was employed by Harris Teeter and the Fresh Market in their Deli departments. For 19 years, he was a member of the Sandtrappers League.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ellen Page of Hendersonville; two daughters, Valerie Berard (Dean) and Sandra Davidson (Larry); three sons, Alan Page (Louise), David Page (Laurie), and Douglas Page; eight grandchildren, Keith and Ian Berard, Amanda Page, Anthony and Paige Davidson, Margaret (Rob) Richardson, Dawn (Steve) Ciccala, and Wendy (Ray) Hernandez; and several great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
