Euva Capps

Euva Estelle “Eudy” Capps, 93, of Zirconia, NC, passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 26, 2008 at her home after a period of declining health.

A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late H. K. Pace and Janie Heatherly Pace, and wife of James M. Capps who died in 1990. She was also predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.

Before retiring, she worked for 25 years for Green River Mills and J.P. Stevens. She was a member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving family, Willavene McCall of Hendersonville and Vera Pace of Zirconia; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Cedar Springs Baptist Church. The Reverends D. Lewis Staton and Paul Chandler will officiate. Burial will follow at Pace Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. At other times, they will be at the home of her sister, Vera Pace.
