Evelyn ìEvieî Yinger, 81, of Flat Rock went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Elizabeth House.

Born in Old Redford, MI, she was the daughter of the late Victor Charles and Irma LaPearl Walter.

She had lived in Henderson County for the past 20 years and was an active member and volunteer of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville and Spring Haven Community.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, William A. Yinger of Flat Rock; three sons; one daughter; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be at 10 AM Saturday, March 19, 2011 at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM at the church. The Reverend Wally Shamburger will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
