Everett O. Byington, age 95, of Maryville, TN passed away Saturday, May 2, 2009 at Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Margaret Byington.
He was employed with Sears for over thirty years. Everett was a member of Pinecrest Presbyterian Church in Flat Rock, NC. He was a Lions Club member for over sixty-five years and was presented a Life Membership in Lions International in 1974.
Surviving Mr. Byington are daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Bill Davis; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Judy Byington; sister, Doris Spencer; grandchildren, James Cappelmann and wife, Amy; John Cappelmann and wife, Erika; Susan Nord and husband, David; Elizabeth Kowalik and husband, David; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Friday, May 8, 2009, at Shannondale of Maryville. A memorial service will also be held at 1:00pm Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Pinecrest Presbyterian Church in Flat Rock, NC.
