    Pat Jayson says:
I spent many hours with Frances Hall King during the years we both served on the Western College Alumnae board. When I visited Frances and Willis in Hendersonville, we caught trout in Willis's stocked pond, picked corn and fresh vegetables that they had planted, ate meals at the kitchen table, and talked long into the day & night. It was my great good fortune to know them both. Frances was a rudder in my life.
