F. Vaughan Hodsdon of Hendersonville died Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Mission Hospital.
A memorial service will be at Blue Ridge Christian Church, Mills River at 2pm August 7th. He was born in Springvale, ME, lived in Derry, NH before moving to North Carolina. Burial will be in Maine.
He is survived by his wife Catherine (Cathy) Sexton Hodsdon, daughter Kristen, step children Thomas(June)Otzelberger,Suzanne O. Stroud, Geralyn O.(Doug)Connell, Jeanne O.(Mark)Washburn. Grandchildren Robert, Kevin, Staci(fiancee Eric),Paul, Thomas, Lauren, Luke, and Annalee. A sister Amelia Hodsdon of Maine, sister in law Mary Hodsdon of NH and daughter in law Cathy Hodsdon.
His son Stephen Hodsdon, sister Barbara Moore, brother Clarence Hodsdon preceded him in death.
The family requests no flowers. Donations to Meals on Wheels of Henderson Co., Council on Aging, or Hospice.
