Frank L. Morley, 83, of Hendersonville, NC died Monday, October 11, 2010 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock after a brief period of declining health.

A resident of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Frank Leslie Morley and Vera Warner Morley, and husband of Jane Beck Morley who died in 2005. He was also preceded in death by his son, Paul Morley, and grandson, Joshua Morley who died serving his country in Iraq.

He retired from General Electric after thirty-two yearsí employment and was an active member of Refuge Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sons, Steven Morley and wife, Carey, of Hendersonville; Tom Morley and wife, Sheila, of Saluda; and Joe Morley and wife, Lucy, of Carthage; his daughter, Irene Morley Redden and husband, Larry, of Etowah; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Refuge Baptist Church. The Reverend Alvin Melton will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

    Irene,Steve,and Tom, Frank always had a smile on his face and encouraging words for others. It was a joy to be in his presence. We will miss seeing his warm smile at church every Sunday. May God bless you all and give you comfort knowing your Mom and Dad are together once again.
