I am sorry to hear of Freeman's passing. Although I only met him on those occasions when he and Bernice visited Northern Virginia, I remember vividly his quiet dignity. May God grant you all comfort as we await the resurrection.

    Cathy McCall Mandeville says:
I am deeply moved to hear that Freeman has passed away. My thoughts and prayers go out to Bernice and the rest of your family. I want you to know that Freeman was well-thought of by me and my family and was truly a wonderful neighbor. I remember one summer day last year he had called mom to come and get some corn and I happened to be there that day, so I went up to pick up the corn and came home with two big arms full of sunflowers. I really enjoyed my visit with Freeman and Benice that day and it was a wonderful memory that I will cherish as long as I live. Freeman was a very kind and generous man and will be missed greatly in our little community but, I know that he is walking with Jesus now and we can take comfort in that. With much love to you and your family, Cathy
