Furman “Tony” Hoots

Furman “Tony” Hoots, 44, of Hendersonville passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 after a short stay at Elizabeth House. A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Josephine W. Hoots who died in 2004, and Furman Turner Hoots of Hendersonville. He worked with Eaton Corporation for over fifteen years, and was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.

In addition to his father, survivors include a brother, Mark Hoots and his wife Jennifer of Hendersonville; two nephews, Turner and Adam Hoots, both of Hendersonville.

A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Rev. Craig Stepp will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2pm prior to the service in the chapel.
