Harry L. Snyder, 85, of Flat Rock passed away February 18, 2010.

He was born in Loraine, OH and resided in Miami, FL before moving to Hendersonville.

A World War II veteran, he served in the US Army. He graduated from Kent State and Hamma School of Theology and was a Lutheran minister and college professor. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Snyder and is survived by his stepdaughter, Genien Carlson of Hendersonville.

A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Humane Society, PO Box 706, Hendersonville, NC 28793
