Helen Brown McCraw, 79, of Mountain Home, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 13th, 2022. A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Coy and Edna Brown.

She was a devoted wife for over 59 years to her husband, Tommie Wayne McCraw. She was a loving mother to three children; Michael (Stephanie) McCraw, Becky (Greg) Brubaker, and Jeffrey (Leann) McCraw. She was a doting “Mamaw” to her six grandchildren; Shiloh McCraw, Megan McCraw, Rachel (Drew) Wright, Hannah (Kole) Thomas, Avery McCraw, and Olivia McCraw. She was also survived by her sister Doris Bencivenga and brother Don Brown.

She was preceded in death by brothers Gene Brown Sr. and Gerald Brown.

Every morning you could find her and Tommie walking on their favorite walking trails near their home. They walked their last mile together Thursday morning, August 11. She was an active, longtime member of Naples Baptist Church. She was a faithful Sunday School teacher for the King’s Daughters. You could also find her singing in the choir every Sunday. She always shared her love of the Lord and His Gospel with each person she came into contact with.

A funeral service will be held at Naples Baptist Church on Thursday, August 18th at 11:00am. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00-10:45am. A burial will follow the service at Shepherd Memorial Park.
