Herbert Capps, 80, of Easley, South Carolina, passed away, Monday, February 15, 2010 at his home.

Born in Green River, NC, he was the son of the late Webster and Lily Pace Capps. He was also predeceased by two brothers, Harold and Lyman Capps.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen Lance Capps of Easley, SC; three sons, John of Taylors, SC; Randall of Dacusville, SC, and Kevin of Easley, SC; one daughter, Nancy Gail Wilkie of Fletcher, NC; three granddaughters, Wanda Wilkie, Lisa Capps and Lindsay Capps; two brothers, Franklin and Lloyd Capps of Hendersonville, NC; and three sisters, Doris Farnum, Betty Jo and Willie Jane Capps of East Flat Rock, NC. .

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at Shepherd Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 ñ 2 PM Wednesday prior to the service at Shuler Funeral Home.
