Gifts & Memorial Donations

Ida Eloise Tabor, 83, of Hendersonville died Friday, January 15, 2010 at Four Seasons Elizabeth House.

She was the daughter of the late John Grayson Stepp and Bertie King Stepp and wife of Charlie Clyde ìShortyî Tabor who died in 2006. A sister, Ruby Ritchie, also preceded her in death.

A wonderful Christian example for others to follow, she was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church but was attending Oak Grove Baptist Church with her son. She dearly loved the Lord and enjoyed the gift He gave her of working with flowers and plants, especially her azaleas

Surviving are two sons Kenneth Tabor and wife Elaine and Steve Tabor, all of Hendersonville; one brother J.G. ìBudî Stepp and wife Melba; three sisters Mary Fisher, Rosalee Corn, and Edith Douglas and husband Ross; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, January 18 at Refuge Baptist Church. Revs. Harold McKinnish and Keith Sizemore will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service at the church.
