Inez Worthy Ledbetter, 75, of Hendersonville, NC, died Tuesday morning, June 24, 2008 at the Elizabeth House in Flat Rock.

A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, NC, she was the daughter of the late M.W. Worthy and Irene Corn Worthy. She was also preceded in death by her brother, David Lamar Worthy.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Brenda Ledbetter Drake and husband, Raymond; her son, Ronald Ledbetter and wife, Laura Anne, all of Hendersonville; one brother, Henry E. Worthy; one sister, Lucille Price, both of Hendersonville; four grandchildren, Alicia Cummings, Soncha Mahoney, Wendy Ledbetter, and Tiffany Jackson; and two great-grandchildren, Bailey Madison Ledbetter and Kianna-Rae Cummings.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Friday, June 27, 2008 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with the Reverends Harold McKinnish and Mike Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 PM Thursday, June 26 at Shuler Funeral Home.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Four Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care for their compassionate care and support.
