I played in the Sid Noel Trio at the Lakeshore Supper Club in Greeley, CO in the 1960s. Sid was a good friend and a pleasure to know and work with him. I will always have fond memories or our "gigs" at the Supper Club. My condolences to his family and friends.

Jack always had a pleasant demeanor and was happy to help. I remember many pleasant times shooting the breeze and planning computer classes at BRCC with him. He was a great encouragement and shall be missed.

    Julia Root Freemyer says:
I was very sorry to hear that Sid had passed away. Several of the Big Bend classmates met in August and we had talked about having a reunion. We did not know where Sid was. I wish we had gotten together before he passed away. I was a friend of Sid, since first grade. I have been reading a diary the last few days. It has reminded me of the fun we had at Big Bend, and especially in 9th grade. The Noel farm a joined our farm. I was talking to two friends, Maxine and JoAnne Schmidt and we remembered parties at Sid and Judy's grandmothers. We had chocolate donuts with ice cream in the middle. We all loved them. I am sorry that I did not know that Sid lived in North Carolina, we live in Marietta GA. It would have been fun to have seen him. I assume that he had heart trouble. I had not seen two of the guys that we saw for lunch this summer, for over 50 years. I do not know if Sid is our first classmate to die. Julia
