James Charles ìJimî Miser, 63 of Saluda, passed away early Thursday morning, August 26, 2010.

A native of Ohio, he had lived most of his life in Polk County. He was a son of John and Alice Nolan Miser.

He served in the Marine Corps and was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked many years in commercial and residential construction and was a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughters, Pam Atkins and husband, Wayne and Cheryl Hunnicutt and husband, Mark; four brothers; four sisters; and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Mud Creek Baptist Church. The Reverend Mark Hunnicutt will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc., 8605 Cameron Street, 4th Floor, Silver Spring, MD 20910.
