James Hunter ìJimî Hall, Jr., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 31, 2008. He was the son of the late James Hall and Phyllis Jakes Hall. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by a sister, Lynn Loyd.

He retired from Bell South and was a member of the Brooklet First Baptist Church in Brooklet, GA.

He is survived by his loving wife of forty years, Mary Anne; two sons, James and wife, Rexella and David and wife, Lisa; seven grandchildren, Hunter, Cara, Madilyn, Sawyer, Emma, Kaitlyn and Allison; a sister, Karen Wiley and husband, Ron; and a brother, Marty and wife, Roxie.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM, Monday, November 3, 2008 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park of Hendersonville with Graveside Military Rites conducted by Hubert M. Smith American Legion Post 77, Hedrick-Rhodes Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5206, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 14. The Reverend Carl Setterlind will officiate. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM, Monday at Shuler Funeral Home.
