James O. Light, Jr. 95 of Carolina Village died Friday, July 30, 2010 at his home. A native of Lebanon, Penn., he had been a resident of Ogden Dunes, Indiana prior to retiring to Hendersonville in 1977. He received his Bachelorís degree in Metallurgy from Penn State University and was employed by US Steel for 40 years, retiring in 1976.
His wife, Marian Light, preceded him in death in 2008.
He was a member of First Congregational Church.
Surviving is a daughter Joan Robertson of Huntingtown, Maryland; a son Jay Owen Light of Belmont, Mass.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
