Gifts & Memorial Donations

Jean Mae ìJeanieî Peterson Gore died Friday, August 5, 2011 at Sunnybrook Assisted Living in the care of Four Seasons Compassion for Life.

Jeanie was a woman of many gifts and talents.

She trained and worked as an RN. She extended herself to others by volunteering for Hospices, churches, and gardening clubs. She was a knitter, quilter, potter, and artist with brush, clay, and flowers. Jeanie was a wonderful cook and hostess. From her years as an Air Force wife and their deployments, she brought many new flavors into peopleís lives. She was a gardener, hiker, a medal-winning swimmer, ice skater, and tap dancer. She loved music, whether listening, singing or whistling while she cooked. She was a generous and loyal friend. Jeanie was a fine big sister.

Jeanie is survived by her sisters, Sandra Kremer of Hendersonville and Molly Kremer Johnson of The Woodlands, TX; seven nieces and nephews; and twelve great-nieces and nephews.

No local services are planned. Her ashes will be scattered in the White Tank Mountains of Arizona with those of her husband and their beloved dogs.

In lieu of flowers, Jeanieís family will appreciate contributions made to Four Seasons Compassion for Life, 571 S. Allen Road, Flat Rock, NC, 28731.
