Jesse Edward Dungy

Jesse E. Dungy, 76, of Hendersonville, peacefully passed away at Life Care Center on Friday, January 12, 2018. He was a native of Maury County, TN and lived in Hendersonville for over 40 years. He is the son of the late Ed and Bessie Thompson Dungy and husband to the late Wanda Dungy whom he loved and cherished for 35 years.

Jesse was a proud veteran of the US Army in which he served during the Vietnam Era, a member of Mud Creek Baptist Church, and a member of the Carolina Mountain Car Club.

He is survived by his children: Freddy Dungy and wife Teresa, Veronica Climie and husband Bart, Robert Brown and wife Leslie, and Chris Stanton and husband Tarold, four brothers; Gary and wife Linda, Wendell and wife Betty, Dennis and wife Debbie, and Joey and wife Karen, and two sisters; Patsy and husband Richard and Bethany. He was also blessed with 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
