    Donna Balin says:
To the Amaya Family, Jose has worked with us for over 5 years. He and his crew have been here for multiple reasons, helping us to become comfortable and safe in our new retirement location. We chatted often at days’ end about the new business and he sought our advice on how to improve it. We always told him, “Jose if we had a son, we would like him to be just like you.” Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Amaya, you did everything right! Eva and family, you have been blessed to have shared a life with this wonderful man. Jose, Happy Birthday in heaven. You are in our thoughts. With sadness and love, Donna and Mike Balin

    Jennifer Gueyr says:
Spoke with Jose. He called to give me a quote. He told he wanted to take time out. He had to call me personally because I was Jeremy's mom he felt a call was more appropriate. Jeremy worked for Jose. Love and peace to family and crew. Prayers for this gracious spirit. He will be missed.

    Donald Owen says:
From: Don & Judy Owen, The Oaks On behalf of my wife Judy and I and the Grounds Committee at The Oaks, I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the entire Amaya family and JCA Team. I have worked closely with Jose for over the past year. Jose was a great man whom I greatly respected. His hard work ethic and dedication will be greatly missed at The Oaks and many communities in the Hendersonville area. He was always honest, fair, and extremely knowledgeable with every job, keeping our community beautiful and well maintained. He had a great deal of pride in his work and often told me, “Don, we want to make our property look good” He treated our home owners with respect and was very polite to everyone. Jose was also one of the nicest men I have ever met. He had a great smile and had a way of flashing it if he had a different idea or was suggesting something different. He will be greatly missed, but certainly never forgotten.

Hilary & Jouko Resla. Carriage Park says:
We are devastated by the passing of Jose. One of the finest people we have worked with. Immediately we were impressed by his gentle smile and polite manner, but then our admiration grew as we saw the professionalism of his crew. The people in the office were also very polite and professional and were a delight to deal with. Jose certainly had his finger on every aspect of the business; nothing happened without his approval. Our deepest condolences go out to his wife & children and his extended family. And our thoughts and prayers are with the JCA family, too. He will be missed but we will see him again one day!
