J.A. Bishop, 57, of Hendersonville, NC, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 26, 2008.

Born in Henderson County, he was the son of the late Hannon and Blanche Case Bishop. He was a former resident of East Point, GA.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 PM Sunday, April 6, 2008 at Dana United Methodist Church. The Reverend Walt Christian will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dana United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 1164, Dana, NC 28724.

    Jay, I really enjoyed the times we got to spend with you. It always made me smile and laugh when you and Greg would cut up so. You two were suc a mess together. I know you will be greatly missed by your children and family but I sing songs of joy because you are now healed and home with Jesus!

    Jay, We shared many good times together on the family camping trips,family dinners, holidays, etc... You always gave and shared what you had with others. I will always remember you for your great sense of humor and care and concern for your siblings and family.
