Keith Alan Jackson, 59, of Hendersonville died Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Mission Hospital in Asheville after a short illness.

He was born in Miami, FL, but had lived most of his life in Hendersonville.

He had been an employee of AT&T for 41 years. He loved golfing, bowling, working in the yard, and being in his Mancave. He lived life to the fullest and will be truly missed by all.

He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Lynn Miller Jackson of Hendersonville; his mom and dad, Jay and Ola Jackson; his sons, Kris Jackson and his wife, Kim, and Kyle and his partner, Erin; three sisters, Sharon Schnider, Babs Woodworth and her husband, Mike, and Chris Nickel and her husband, Dennis; two brothers, Jay Jackson and his wife, Kathy, and Hoyt Jackson and his wife, Marion; three grandchildren, Kaden, Regan, and Brandon Jackson; several nieces and nephews; and his two cats, Prissy and Spookie.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 12, 2011 in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from

5 ñ 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Joseph Campus of Mission Hospitals, 8th Floor Comfort Care, 428 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801, or to Blue Ridge Humane Society, PO Box 706, Hendersonville, NC 28793.
