Kimberly Thomas Levine, 65, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on November 4, 2022, after her battle with cancer.
She was the youngest of four children, born on February 26, 1957, in Lock Haven, PA to Dr. David Thomas Jr. and Shirley Thomas.
In 1977 she went to work at Camp Pinewood, a private children’s residential camp in Hendersonville, NC, where she met her husband, Ron Levine. They went on to have two daughters, Ashley, and Kelley. One of Kim’s passions was nurturing children at their summer home away from home. Her love of travel enabled her to see the world while meeting and interviewing prospective staff for Camp Pinewood, touching the lives of many, and making lifelong friends around the globe.
Through the years Kim’s favorite interests were her love of animals, traveling, and reading. She was an avid equestrian who also enjoyed snow and water skiing. She was full of life with adventure, devoted to her family, was fearless, compassionate, and had a keen sense of humor.
Kim was predeceased by both of her parents as well as her brother, Dean Thomas. She is survived by her husband, Ron, their two daughters Ashley Clayton & her husband JP Clayton of Hendersonville, NC, and Kelley Lozada & her husband Daniel Lozada of Tampa, FL, her sister Jane Peck and brother David Thomas. She also leaves behind her first & beloved 1-year-old granddaughter, Harper Clayton.
Kim was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all her friends and family.
