Kyle J. Beattie, 50, of Hendersonville passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018. Born in Florence, SC he was a son of John H. “Jack” Beattie and the late Donna Sterling Beattie.

Kyle attended elementary school in Luxembourg, prior to his family moving to Wilmington, DE. He continued his education at Keystone Jr. College in Northeastern Pennsylvania and graduated from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree. Following graduation, he moved to Phoenix, AZ and worked for Choice Hotels as a business analyst. He moved to Hendersonville in 2017 to be closer to family due to health issues. He loved music and had a passion for animals of all types, especially dogs. He was a tender person that always met everyone with an incredible smile.

In addition to his father, survivors include his two brothers, Brian H. and Scott S. Beattie; a sister, Laurie Pounds and several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at a later date.

    Praying for Kyle's family during this sad and difficult time. Kyle was such a sweet person who befriended me in HS when I moved to Delaware. Praying that God will comfort you and give you strength and peace through this.

    This news seemed to come up so randomly online. I am stunned and so sad. I am incredibly sorry for your loss. I knew Kyle and Scott through high school years/church in Wilmington. I remember them as sunshine and now wish their entire family peace. ~Merle Ward
