Lonnie Newton O’Steen, Jr, 57 of Hendersonville, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017. He is the son of Patricia O’Steen and the late Lonnie N. O’Steen, Sr. Lonnie had been a Chef at Carolina Village for five years.
He is survived by a daughter, Gillian Marie O’Steen; a grandson, Sebastion O’Steen; a brother, Gary O’Steen and his wife Sandra; and three nieces and one nephew.
Services will be private.

    It is truly heartbreaking losing such a great friend. I felt as though Lonnie was a second father to me and so many others he came in contact with. Lonnie was brilliant with random facts and always up for a good conversation. I am truly sorry for this families loss. Gillian he loved you and was super proud of you and everything you had accomplished. He will not be forgotten

    Just heard of Lonnie's passing. So sorry to hear that. He was always smiling and really kind to us nurses at CVMC. He will be missed! RIP in my friend!
