Lucy H. Lake, of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Elizabeth House.

She was a very devoted member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, and is survived by two sons, Christopher and Nicholas Lake.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.

A special thanks is extended to the Elizabeth House, Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, and many friends who bestowed their love and care during her illness.

    My deepest condolences to you both on the passing of your mother. Aunt Mausi was a strong character and Andy and I loved visiting her and hearing all the stories of when she and our mother grew up, when I was at the Brevard Music Festival in the summers. Her passing marks the last of the generation of my parents and I will always treasure the memories.
