Lymon W. Capps, 73, of Hendersonville, NC, died Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Pardee Memorial Hospital.

A native of Henderson County, he was the son of the late Webster and Lillie Capps. He was predeceased by his brother, Harold.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lois; sons and wives, Sheldon and Beth and Dwayne and Julley; granddaughters, Larissa, Laiken, Cassidy and Larena; brothers, Herbert, Franklin and Lloyd; and sisters, Doris, Betty Jo and Jane.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Monday, December 14 at Pinecrest Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Charles B. Evans officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by Hubert M. Smith American Legion Post 77, Hedrick-Rhodes Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5206, and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 14.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donorís choice.
