Lynda Marie Melton, 64, of Tryon, died Saturday, June 21, 2008 at the Elizabeth House.

Lynda Marie Melton, 64, of Tryon, NC, passed away on Saturday, June 21st at Elizabeth House Four Seasons Hospice. She was the daughter of the late Raymond A. Heidrich and Patricia A. Collins. She was the widow of James P. Melton. She is survived by her children, Thomas Small of La Crescenta, CA, Joseph Small of Milton, FL, Brad Pritchard of Pinehurst, NC, Daina Ryan of Brightwaters, NY and Leigh Weinstein of W. Sayville, NY; grandchildren, Kerri and Bryan Weinstein and Gabriel Small; brother Steven Raney and sister Ginger Cantwell.

She was an unconditionally loving and supportive mother. A most kind, generous spirit, she lived to give without expectation of anything in return.
