Gifts & Memorial Donations

M. Ann Davis, 82, of Fletcher passed away during the early morning hours on Monday, October 17, 2011 after a long and courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Born in Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Donna Mae and Preston Walker. She and her husband, John Davis, traveled extensively with his job before retiring to Fletcher in 1987. John passed away shortly after in 1993. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Michael Davis and brother, Richard Walker.

She enjoyed working with her plants and reading. Much of her time was spent caring for her husband, Clyde Gasperson, Jr.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters and their spouses, Brenda and Luther Worley of Fletcher and Cheryl and Chris Woody of Kingston, TN; grandchildren, Tracy, Jessica, Brittany, and Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Cruz, Joseph, and Layla.

Although the family she leaves behind will miss her dearly, she is now rejoicing with her Lord and loved ones already passed on.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM Friday, October 21, 2011 at Shepherd Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, P.O. Box 11809, Pleasanton, CA 94588 or at www.ovarian.org.
