M. Mark Hollingsworth, 75 of Tryon, died Friday, November 22, 2013 at Pardee Hospital.

A native of Henderson County, he was the son of the late C. F. Hollingsworth & Artie Laughter Hollingsworth. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Henderson Hollingsworth and a sister, Joyce Kreinhop.

Mark retired from the City of Hendersonville; and enjoyed working with his hands in his shop making numerous projects.

He is survived by his son, Michael Hollingsworth and his wife Becky of Campobello, SC; two step-children, David Henderson of Tryon and Lisa Henderson of Conover, NC; a sister, Virginia Collins and her husband Bud of Hendersonville; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Oakdale Cemetery with Military Honors.
