Marcia D. Lupton, 80, of Hendersonville passed away Friday, June 14, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.

A native of Fairview, OK and was a resident of Henderson County for 24 years, she was the daughter of the late Dawson M. and Naomi Davis. Mrs. Lupton was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ken and Dick Davis.

Marcia was a wonderful wife and a fantastic mother to our three kids. She graduated from OU and was a Research microbiologist and bacteriologist before retiring in 1988.

Mrs. Lupton is survived by her husband, Robert A. Lupton of Hendersonville; sons, Todd Lupton and his wife Lee, Brett Lupton and his wife Stacey; daughter, Brenda Waid; grandchildren, Connor, Danica, Joseph and Tyler Lupton, all of Hendersonville; and number of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday July 2, 2013, at 1:00 pm, in the Kirby Memorial Chapel of Shuler Funeral Home with the Reverend Howard Hanger officiating. Family requests casual attire, come as you are, please.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Jubilee Community Church, 46 Wall St, Asheville, NC 28801.
